NOEG’S goal is to help northern companies gain access to the vital equity capital and expertise needed to grow beyond local markets and become the next generation of top northern companies. We have established an efficient process designed to quickly ascertain if a company’s investment opportunity is suitable for angel investment. If not suitable, we will help point the business owner to a more suitable source. For suitable opportunities, we work with the business owner(s) to provide investment readiness and presentation assistance in order to enhance their success in raising angel capital. When ready, we provide the opportunity to present to key angel investors. Those who are successful gain not only capital, but the benefits of accessing the knowledge, contacts, experience and expertise of angel investor members.

Access to accredited investors:

NOEG angel group member investors are accredited investors as defined by the OSC. This is a benefit to entrepreneurs because they have the opportunity to get in front of a group of knowledgeable and experienced investors who have both the means and the will to invest in the right opportunity.

Coaching and presentation skills:

Entrepreneurs who are invited to present to angel investors receive presentation coaching to ensure they present their business opportunity in the concise and coherent format angel investors find most favorable. This enhances the entrepreneur's potential for investment success.

Education and information:

Each member of the NOEG Angel Investment Group brings the ability and willingness to invest in promising private companies, while understanding the inherent risk. By bringing these top local investors together, entrepreneurs are able to save time by going to one group to raise capital as opposed to chasing individual investors or wondering how to access local private investors.
